In a candid interview that has gained significant attention online, Afia Mansah, the former wife of renowned Ghanaian businessman and fashion icon Osebo, has shared shocking details of alleged abuse during their marriage.
Speaking with Kwaku Manu, Afia revealed a painful moment when Osebo allegedly gave her family a fake cheque as her bride price. The truth came to light when her brother attempted to cash the cheque, narrowly avoiding legal trouble.
“It was by God’s grace that my brother wasn’t jailed,” she said, further describing Osebo as a challenging partner who lacked respect for women.
Afia also recounted how the emotional toll of her marriage drove her to alcohol dependency. She confessed, “I used to drink until I was drunk, and my children would cry.
Sometimes I couldn’t sleep without taking sleeping pills.” According to her, Osebo’s infidelity exacerbated her pain, as she often found him in the company of other women at hotels.
Despite her complaints, Osebo’s mother reportedly dismissed her concerns, asserting that she knew his tendencies before marrying him.
Afia concluded by revealing that she was not alone in her ordeal, claiming that three other women had endured similar trauma with Osebo.
