Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford could be on his way out, with reports suggesting the club is open to offers during the January transfer window or in the summer.
According to Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg, United’s management is considering a sale due to Rashford’s inconsistent form and high wages, which stand at approximately £300k-a-week.
Despite a strong start under Ruben Amorim, where Rashford scored twice against Everton, he has struggled to cement a place in the starting XI. Offloading Rashford would give the club more flexibility in the transfer market and address financial concerns.
At 27 years old, Rashford is still in his prime, making him a valuable asset for potential suitors. Clubs like Paris Saint-Germain have previously shown interest in the England international and could make a bid to secure his services.
While his departure would mark the end of a significant chapter at Old Trafford, it could also provide Rashford with a fresh start and Manchester United with the opportunity to restructure their squad and wage bill.
