Kwaku Manu has addressed the concerns of Ghanaians following Funny Face’s recent spiritual healing session at the Bethel Prayer Center in Kumasi. The service, held on December 31, 2024, marked the church’s final gathering of the year.
During the session, Mama Vida, the church leader, performed a controversial miracle where she stepped on Funny Face’s head as he lay on the floor seeking deliverance.
The dramatic scene left some fans questioning the approach, but Kwaku Manu was quick to defend both Funny Face and Mama Vida, stating there was nothing inappropriate about the method.
According to Kwaku Manu, Funny Face voluntarily participated in the session, desperate to find relief from his struggles with mental health. The actor explained that Funny Face’s erratic behavior had cost him relationships, including with the mother of his children, and caused public outbursts that damaged his reputation.
