A viral video making rounds on social media captures a heated altercation involving Ghanaian Highlife artist Fameye, fans, and security personnel during an event in Accra.
The incident occurred at the launch of the “24 Hour Economy Park,” where Fameye was performing. A group of overly enthusiastic fans stormed the stage mid-performance, disrupting the flow and creating chaos.
As security personnel and police tried to remove the intruders, one fan resisted and engaged in a physical altercation with Fameye’s bodyguard. Fameye, visibly upset, stepped in to de-escalate the situation but ended up throwing a punch amidst the confusion, resulting in an accidental fall off the stage.
Despite the chaos, Fameye later managed to regain composure, showing professionalism in handling the unexpected disruption.
