Former Ghanaian boxer Brimah Kamoko, better known as Bukom Banku, stole the spotlight with his unexpected proposal to actress and broadcaster Nana Ama McBrown during her popular cooking show, McBrown’s Kitchen.
The lively exchange happened as the two prepared banku and tilapia, creating a fun and lighthearted moment for viewers.
Known for his outgoing personality, Bukom Banku didn’t shy away from expressing his admiration, saying, “I love you really. It’s not fake.” McBrown, who confirmed she is currently single, played along with a smile, saying, “Okay, yeah I am vacant, so give me a ring,” adding to the playful atmosphere.

While his charming antics often grab attention, Bukom Banku’s achievements in boxing are just as noteworthy. A bronze medalist at the 1999 All-Africa Games, he retired with an impressive record of 29 wins from 30 fights, including 21 knockouts.
