Grammy-nominated Nigerian superstar Asake has solidified his dominance in the music industry by being named the best-selling artist in Nigeria for 2024, an unprecedented third consecutive year at the top.
According to TurnTable, Nigeria’s leading music chart publication, Asake surpassed the nation’s biggest acts, including the iconic “big three,” to claim the title.
Asake’s latest album, Lungu Boy, released in August 2024, became the year’s standout project, spending 15 weeks at No. 1 and finishing as the best-selling album of the year.
His previous works, Mr. Money With The Vibe and Work of Art, also maintained strong performances on the Official Top 100 Albums chart, showcasing his ability to sustain massive appeal.
Alongside dominating streaming platforms like Apple Music, Audiomack, and YouTube, Asake also emerged as the No. 1 radio artist for the second year in a row.
